Dr. Joseph Riad is a Colorectal Surgeon. He specializes in treating all aspects of colon and rectal disease including colon and rectal cancers, IBD (Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis), Diverticulitis, Pelvic floor disorders, Rectal prolapse, Fecal Incontinence, anorectal disease as well as performing colonoscopies. His clinical interest focuses on colorectal oncology, especially the treatment of rectal cancer, Robotics, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Riad Received his Medical Degree from Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt. He finished his General Surgery Internship at the University of Southern California. He then completed his General Surgery Residency at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital. He then completed his colorectal surgery fellowship at Mount Carmel Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in advanced colorectal surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
