Originally from Israel, Dr. Yitzhack Asulin graduated Cum Laude from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. After graduating from Saint George’s University School of Medicine with a dual degree of MD and MSc, Dr. Asulin completed his OB-GYN residency training at Stamford Hospital / Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He was a chief resident and was voted outstanding laparoendoscopic surgeon.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, member of American Urogynecology Society, and American Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Asulin is a certified surgeon of excellence of robotic surgery by AAGL. He is the director of the division of Robotic surgery and female pelvic reconstruction surgery at CarePoint Health.
Dr. Asulin is considered a pioneer and leader in robotic and female pelvic reconstruction surgery, with nearly a thousand robotic surgeries completed. A master in robotic surgery, Dr. Asulin regularly performs complex robotic surgeries at multiple hospitals in NJ with excellent outcome. He has special interests in Minimally Invasive Surgery, particularly complex robotic procedures as well as urogynecologic and pelvic pain disorders. Dr. Asulin is considered a leader and expert in endometriosis surgery as well as fibroid surgery utilizing the new da Vinci robotic system.
Dr. Asulin lives with his wife and three children in Tenafly, NJ.
