Hoboken, NJ — August 1, 2022 — CarePoint Health and Rothman Orthopaedic Institute first announced their orthopedic partnership in March 2021. The leadership teams are proud to announce a 10-year partnership to provide orthopedic care. This commitment exemplifies the priority of both organizations to create a world-class comprehensive orthopedic service line at Hoboken University Medical Center and Christ Hospital in Jersey City to serve the patients in Hudson County and beyond.
An internationally recognized leader founded in 1970, Rothman Orthopaedics is the largest surgical practice in the United States. Rothman Orthopaedics has 14 practice operations in New Jersey and a new Hudson County location. The new location includes Rothman Orthopaedic surgeons and non-operative physicians in addition to services such as imaging, orthotics and physical therapy. These physicians will staff key programs including a new Arthroplasty Center. Rothman Orthopaedics and CarePoint are also in discussions to create a multi-specialty ambulatory venture to serve Hudson County. This program will encourage other specialties outside of orthopedics to join this high-quality care model.

Vaccaro, MD, PhD, MBA, President of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. “We are very fortunate based on our reputation that the North Jersey expansion attracted an abundance of top trained orthopaedic applicants. Hudson County is going to be thrilled with the new orthopaedic physicians serving their community”

Olivia, MD, CEO of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. “This will allow us to select the best of the best, fellowship trained surgeons from prestigious organizations like Yale University and others to serve patients in the New York metropolitan area.
